  2. In the Title, type "Thanksgiving Computer Skills Challenge"
  3. In the Subtitle type your first and last name. 
  4. Choose a Theme that has an autumn color for Thanksgiving.

  1. In the title, type "Thanksgiving Side Dishes"
  2. Insert a Table (3 rows x 3 columns). 
  3. Type nine traditional Thanksgiving Side Dishes. 
  4. Center the text within the Table. 
  5. change the font style to a font of your choice, and increase the font size to 18. 
  6. Change the text color of each row: 
    1. first row → Red 
    2. second row → orange  
    3. last row → brown. 
  7. Insert three pictures to match three side dishes. Resize the pictures if needed.
Americans consume 400 million pounds of cranberries each year. Twenty percent of that is during the week of Thanksgiving. That is 80 million pounds! 
  1. Create a pie chart to display which U.S. states are the top cranberry producing states. The percentages by state are listed below. 
    1. Open Google Sheets and fill in the states to match the given percentages  
    2. Create the pie chart and then copy and paste the chart on the slide.

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade has been a tradition in New York for years! 
  1. Research what number this year’s parade will be. For example 95th and insert a WordArt to say 95th Macy's Thanksgiving Parade 
  2. Change the WordArt Fill Color to a Thanksgiving color and move it to the bottom of the slide. 
  3. Type: "More Info" in the LEFT Column, and insert a hyperlink to the Macy’s Day parade website.  
  4. In the RIGHT column type: "How to Watch" and create a bulleted list to display the information on how to watch the parade (channel, date & time). ​

Research how many calories the average person consumes on Thanksgiving Day. The USDA recommends 2,000 calories per day.

You are planning Thanksgiving dinner for 12 people. What size turkey should you buy? You are going to stuff the turkey. How long will it take to cook the stuffed turkey? 
  1. Create two Text Boxes.

    2. The second Text Box should display Cooking Time: (complete the information). 
  2. Apply the same Fill Color to both Text Boxes. 
  3. Center align text,

  6. Insert two pictures appropriate for the slide.
