1.  Download the "mlk_formatting_activity.docx" file above by clicking on it.
2. Open the file.
3. Click the yellow "Enable editing" button at the top.
4. Click "File" & "Save As" to save it to your student folder.
5. Read the paragraphs below about Martin Luther King Jr.

6.  Center and bold the title.
7.  Change the font type to Arial, and the font size to 12.


8.  Indent the two paragraphs using the “Tab” key.
9.  Use the “spell check” tool to make sure all of the words are spelled correctly.
10.  Use the “thesaurus” to replace the words “believed” and “struggle” with synonyms.

11.  Underline all the synonyms you add to the document.
12.  Press “enter” twice after the last sentence.  Then type your name and today’s date.


13.  Find a “clip art” picture of your choice that relates to the paragraph and insert it at the bottom of your document.
14.  Resize the clip art picture by clicking on one of the corners and dragging until it’s the size you want it to be.
15.  Use the “Align” button to center the clip art picture on the page.


14.  Click "File" & "Save."  (Don't click "Save As.")
15.  Then turn it in below.

    2. Choose your class by clicking on the upside down triangle. 
    3. Click the "Choose File" button and navigate to your student folder.  Then double click on your file.
    4. Click "Turn in."

    Click on the circle next to your class.
    Max file size: 20MB
    Click the "Choose File" button and navigate to your student folder. Then double click on your PowerPoint file and click the "Turn in" button.
