step 1: download & save the file

(Directions for Internet Explorer)
  1. Click on the "Download file" button to the right.
  2. Click on "Save As."
  3. When the box opens up, look under the word "Computer" for your name.  That is your student folder.  Click on your name.
  4. Rename the file by clicking in the "File Name" box.  Type in "All About Me YourName."  (ex:All About Me Mr. Gregory)

step 2: take your picture

  1. Click on the "Cameroid" link on the right.
  2. Click on the "Snap" tab.
  3. Click "Allow" when the Adobe Flash Settings box pops up.
  4. Choose an effect.
  5. Click on the camera when you are ready to take your picture.
  6. Click on "Download as a JPG file."
  7. Click "Open."
  8. Click the downward triangle next to the word "Save."
  9. Click "Save As"
  10. Navigate to your student folder (your name under the word "Computer").
  11. Rename the picture by clicking in the box next to "File Name."  Name it something that's easy to remember.

step 3: title slide

  1. Click on the Start button (round button in the bottom left corner).  
  2. Then click on the word "Computer" and find your student folder.  
  3. Double click (click twice really fast) to open your student folder.
  4. Find your PowerPoint titled, "All About Me YourName."  Double click to open it.
  5. Watch the video & follow the directions on the PowerPoint to complete the Title Slide.

  1. Click the "Insert" tab.
  2. Click on the "Clip Art" button.
  3. Type something in the clip art search box.
  4. Click on the picture you want to add.
  5. Add 3-5 pics to each slide and arrange them so they look nice.
  6. Click the "Word Art" button.
  7. Choose a style and type in the subject of the slide.  (ex. basketball, math, etc...)
  8. Delete the text box.
  9. Click on the "File" tab.
  10. Click "Save."

step 8: add bibliography slide

  1. Add a "New Slide" and title it "Credits."
  2. Find your video on youtube and write down the name or username of the creator or poster.
  3. Type in the title of the video or song.
  4. Type the format type (MP3 for songs, MP4 for videos) in all caps.
  5. Type the name of website that you got the clip from (youtube).
  6. Type the date that the video or song was published or updated on youtube.
  7. Go to your student folder and find your video.  Look at the date you downloaded the video and type that date in your powerpoint.
  8. Type the address of the video.

    step 12: turn in

    1. Type in your first and last name.
    2. Choose your class by clicking on the upside down triangle. 
    3. Click the "Choose File" button and navigate to your student folder.  Then double click on your PowerPoint file.
    4. Click "Turn in."

    Click on the circle next to your class.
